Maria Alejandra Rodriguez
My Name is Maria Alejandra Rodriguez, better known as Male, I'm 21 years old and I'm from Bogotá, Colombia. In Colombia I studied in an Italian school since I was little, until I was 19, so I always grew up in this Italian environment, which taught me a lot about Italian culture and history, but also about its people and Made In Italy. I have always been a very curious person, always open to different cultures, so after graduating I had the opportunity to live in Paris and Luxembourg, places that taught me a lot about European culture and fashion, which has always been very present in my life through art, history and literature. After these experiences I decided to come to Milan in 2019 to study in IFDA Fashion Styling, a really interesting course because it combines the creative, artistic and communication side, which in my opinion is the perfect match. During this one-year master I had a lot of experiences that enriched me a lot, and a lot of opportunities that helped me to grow in this industry, like for example working backstage in different Fashion Shows, or being the Fashion Stylist Assistant of my teacher, Peter Cardona, in different shootings for Marie Claire Ukraine. I finished my master in IFDA in the year 2020 and currently I'm studying Communication Management with focus in fashion, food and sustainability, in the Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore in Milan, and at the same time I'm collaborating as Sustainability Specialist with the Swiss company Genuine Way, partner of IFDA.

Passionate about everything that revolves around creativity, I decided to do a Master in Fashion Stylist which changed my life, also from a Visual point of view. In IFDA I found a second family. I would like to say a big THANK YOU to the teachers, because they helped me to bring out what I did not know. Thanks to my continuous deepening in the artistic sector, I became an Image Consultant, in order to offer my experience, passion and preparation for everything that concerns the improvement of the appearance through the way of dressing, moving and presenting oneself. In May 2021 I launched my first brand: VaVè . It is the result of a passion for the art of dressmaking that came from my family's shop, "Rosantico", and has been proudly married to the savoir faire of female entrepreneurship.
Quality and timeless style are the must-haves of my creations. Bags, perfumes, collars and much more, so that everyone can stock up on what they need and discover a new reality, completely Made in Italy.
Gloria Rebecchi
I am Gloria Rebecchi, I'm 30 years old and I live in Piacenza.
I've been passionate about fashion and art since I was a child, and thanks to ballet and contemporary dance with which I grew up, I developed a strong propensity for discipline, perseverance, determination and creativity.
My training started in economic management, which I then decided to change, specializing in what was my true passion, the world of fashion.
This is how my path towards the Fashion System began.
In Milan, I took courses in image consulting, worked in the clothing market, and finally I obtained a master's degree in Fashion Styling at the IFDA Fashion Academy, thanks to which, I also had the opportunity to create fashion editorials and fashion artwork for important newspapers such as Marie Claire.
To date, I am a Fashion Stylist and my constant belief is curiosity and attention to detail with a look to the past, but always attentive to keys in step with the times.
I always say that fashion repeats itself, but evolves.
Being a Fashion Stylist is not only a profession, for me it also means art and passion, because this job allows you to express your own style and to be able to tell a story through the soul of the clothes thanks to photography, all starting from an inspiration.

Throughout the summer the questions about this course kept coming up. I wondered: "Who knows what it will be like, whether I have made the right choice"; but above all "Will I be up to it?".
Despite the various unknowns, I was happy and couldn't wait to start this new course.
The 22nd of October had arrived. In the morning I woke up 3 hours earlier in order to arrive on time.
In this respect I can define myself as a "perfectionist", I would never have wanted them to get the wrong idea straight away; I was very keen.
In fact, I arrived very early and was curious to meet my fellow adventurers.
The thing that struck me immediately was the diversity of the group, we were all completely different; but that was the beauty of it. We had the opportunity to get to know each other's habits, paths and ideas and learn from them.
The impression was immediately positive. I was also struck by the initial speech by the Director of the Academy, especially by the initiatives, the possibility through the various trade fairs and meetings of being able to come into contact with the world of work immediately.
It took me a long time before I chose this path; after finishing high school I knew I wanted to do something related to fashion.
But I wanted to continue with Scenografia because my interests were many; in fact, I have always liked art in general, design, photography, but why not, also architecture.
Scenography encompassed everything and my idea was to specialise in fashion later.
At a certain point in my career, thanks to an internship as a set designer, I asked myself: "Why wait? Is this what I want to do when I grow up?".
No, I realised that my greatest passion couldn't wait, I went against everyone and I'm glad I did.
Now I can't wait to start working; maybe even as a Fashion Stylist.'
Today Chiara is a Fashion Stylist who came out of the Academy with excellent grades and with all the compliments of the external exam board, from which she received interesting professional proposals. Congratulations and never stop believing in yourself!

''Fashion was everything I could want, the magazines, the runway shows and the red carpets. During my university career I discovered curiosity and interest in communication and storytelling and everything related to this world. Fashion and communication were a perfect mix together.
How could I delve into it?
As I inquired online, I found the IFDA Fashion Stylist course interesting, as it encapsulated a bit of the sense of what I wanted to do in the not too distant future. After the initial interview with the Director of the Academy and the desperate search for information, I decided to enroll. So it was that on October 21st I found myself leaving home, family and friends to move to Milan. New city, new people, many doubts and uncertainties. Classes began the next day: we all met here at 9:00 a.m. for the presentation of the course. A bit intimidated and curious about what was waiting for me, I met my new colleagues. I remember that we were in open space; there was immediate harmony among us... there was a presentation of everything we were going to do from there to May. There were so many things to do; on the one hand it scared me, on the other hand it thrilled me. It was what I had always wanted to do; that was the main thing.
From then until now, the course has not let me down, the friends too. I know that the future is uncertain for each of us, but it is also true that it was our curiosity and desire to do that brought us here.
I hope I can do what I really like; working in a magazine would be my biggest dream. I know it will take patience and willpower, but isn't it passion that moves the world?'

''Fashion. A world that seen from the outside seems so glittering, glitzy and inviting. I remember that since I was a child I was extremely fascinated by it.
Barbie dolls were basically synonymous with my childhood and although I knew very little about fashion, even as a child I organized fashion shows and sewed clothes for the dolls.
Growing up, I started to get passionate about make-up and the whole field of beauty, starting to realize that I love to make people even more beautiful with make-up. That alone, however, was not enough for me.
Fashion has always remained something fundamental in my life. Leaving aside the fact that I love shopping, I've always loved thinking about dressing up, making outfits and wearing pretty clothes even if it's just to go to school. Practically all my friends would always ask me why I was always so well-groomed, dressed up and made up since I only had to go to class in a language high school, not even in a big city. Yet my answer was always the same clear and obvious to me: "because I like it". In fact, that's exactly what it is, and once I realized that this was my true passion, I decided that it was exactly what I wanted to dedicate myself to. As the end of high school approached, already knowing for years that I wanted to attend a Fashion Academy, I began to search and inform myself.
Initially, I wanted to go abroad to study, given the previous path related to foreign languages, but when I realized that Milan is a true fashion capital, I began to search in this city. Of all the Italian cities, Milan had always been special to me. Born in Lombardy, but having moved to Cuneo with my family, I knew Milan much better than Turin, even though I grew up nearby! Moreover, it felt like "coming home" and just being able to actually live in a city as beautiful, rich and alive as Milan filled me with joy.
When, after visiting and evaluating many fashion institutes, I finally found the one that most closely matched my expectations and filled out the IFDA application, I really couldn't be happier.
On the first day I was really excited. I was anxious about meeting up with snobby classmates and I was generally nervous, although at the same time I was very happy. All the girls, on the other hand, from the very first moment seemed very good and nice. Even the professors seemed professional and kind, in general I liked the environment very much.
Now that I've been a student here for a few months, I'm really happy. I hope to become a Stylist, to dedicate myself to what I love and I hope to keep in touch with all the people I met here.
One thing I am sure of though: every time I think back on this academic year, I will smile, because it will always remain in my heart.''
