Annual Course
The Model Maker is an indispensable professional figure in the fashion industry: he/she is the one who realizes the model, performs the fitting tests, directs the realization of the prototype to ensure its reproducibility at industrial level, develops the sizes and collaborates to the placement. He/she will acquire the executive ability for a rapid and precise realization and will develop the stylistic sensibility that characterizes the Italian patternmaking.
The annual programme in Pattern Maker provides a complete and specific preparation for the construction of a professional figure able to enter fashion companies at different production levels, to realise any kind of pattern making, elaborating the various bases with the right fit, the development of sizes, in close relation with the most updated production systems.
The laboratory area will be mainly used to put into practice the part of pattern design, going to cut and make both industrial and tailor-made garments, through the use of linear sewing machines and overlocking machines.
Fin dal primo giorno di corso tutti gli studenti verranno seguiti da vicino dai docenti e potranno confrontarsi con un contesto molto stimolante all’interno di team di lavoro ristretti, per avere un rapporto diretto ed esclusivo ed una formazione personalizzata.
Le lezioni in aula e nei laboratori sono fondamentali per mettere in pratica la parte di progettazione modellistica, andando a tagliare e confezionare sia in maniera industriale che sartoriale, capi di abbigliamento, tramite l’utilizzo di macchine da cucire lineari e tagliacuci.
Durante il corso, il nostro Model Maker avrà lezioni ed incontri con i professionisti del settore, docenti interni o consulenti esterni, che ricoprono varie cariche nella moda: fashion designer, modellisti, sarti, art director, redattrici, manager; inoltre, parteciperà a workshop, seminari, concorsi, progetti speciali, visite ad aziende, fiere del settore ed eventi come la Milano Fashion Week che daranno ulteriore valore alla tua formazione.
The main requirements for accessing the educational path are the age of majority and a high school diploma of any address. The candidate will then be evaluated through a motivational interview.
Admission is determined by an interview in which you will present a motivational letter describing what motivates you to undertake this course of study. Once you have passed the admission interview, the school office will contact you to provide you with all the information you need to enroll.

Attendance is compulsory for at least 80% of the total hours of the program, useful to receive the final certificate. Lessons take place on site from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 13.00You will be able to stay and study on site and work on inter-company projects beyond academic hours.
